Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-11-04T17:53Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2025-11-04T17:53:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N24E63
Active Region Number: 14274
Note Keyword:
FOV: Front Bright front; may be evidence of pileup
Ha: Bright emission (likely H-alpha emission)
HAL: Halo CME
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
CHP: CME - Coronal Hole Proximity
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Halo CME first seen to the NE by STEREO A COR2 beginning at 2025-11-04T17:53Z, as well as by SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and GOES CCOR-1 in later frames. The source of this event was an X1.8 flare from Active Region 14274 (N24E63) peaking at 2025-11-04T17:34Z as seen in GOES SUVI 131. Filament material is also visible in association with this flare in GOES SUVI and STEREO A EUVI 304, along with field line opening and an EUV wave visible in GOES SUVI 195/284.

Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type

Due to the large width of the observed shock front and viewing angle differences between the coronagraphs, this best fit is made using the width in GOES CCOR-1/SOHO LASCO C3 and tracking the edge of the front with less emphasis on the width in COR2A.
